Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan very well with non-stick baking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk to combine, then set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk or applesauce until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chopped apples gently.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve warm or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
