  • 2 pounds large raw shrimp peeled, deveined, tails on or off
  • 0.333 cup melted butter
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 0.333 cup pork panko crumbs (or regular panko)
  • 0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika or more to taste
  • fresh chopped parsley for garnish
  • lemon wedges to serve

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange the shrimp in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a bowl, then whisk in the lemon juice, minced garlic, and parsley. Pour half of the butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat. Arrange shrimp in a single layer.
  3. In a small bowl, mix remaining melted butter with panko crumbs, parmesan, and paprika. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes, then switch to broil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until top is golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
