Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.75 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1.5 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 32 fluid ounces pineapple juice
  • 32 fluid ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • 64 fluid ounces ginger ale

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by combining the water and sugar in a pot on the stove. Heat the water to a boil and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved into the water, making your simple syrup. Then remove the pot from the heat.
  2. Combine the simple syrup, lemon juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and almond extract in a large freezer safe bowl, mixing until they’re well combined.
  3. Place the bowl of punch in the freezer and freeze overnight.
  4. Take the punch out of the freezer about 15 minutes before you’re ready to serve it.
  5. Let it thaw slightly and then add the ginger ale right on top of the punch. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, allow the punch to freeze overnight to thoroughly chill and meld flavors. If short on time, ensure all ingredients are well-chilled before combining.
