Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
  2. Cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in oats, M&Ms, and chocolate chips.
  6. Press the dough into the prepared cake pan and bake for 16 minutes, or until edges are golden.
  7. Allow to cool completely before frosting or serving.
