  • 0.33 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt be careful not to over salt

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours. Stir to incorporate everything and ensure the cream cheese has melted into the sauce.
  2. Once cooked, stir again and serve hot. The dish can be kept warm on low or warm setting for an additional hour if needed.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
