Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cupcake pans with liners.
- Whisk salt, baking powder, and flour in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Cream sugar into melted butter until smooth using a mixer. Beat in eggs one at a time, then incorporate vanilla extract.
- Alternate adds of dry ingredients and buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Gently mix after each addition. Fold in sprinkles.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 14-17 minutes for cupcakes, or as directed for other pans. Let cool completely.
