  3. Add diced onions and cook with bacon until transparent.
  4. Add green beans and season with pepper, stir to coat with bacon drippings.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and reduce heat to low.
  6. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ensure there is enough liquid.
  7. Check seasoning, add salt and pepper if needed.
