Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook the sausage over medium heat in a large skillet until no longer brown. Break into bite-sized pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Place thawed hash browns in the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle cooked sausage evenly over hash browns. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and ground mustard. Pour over the casserole.
- Bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 20-30 minutes until set and bubbly. Serve hot.
