  • 1 pound vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pound cake layers
  • 10 whole strawberries sliced

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving overhang.
  2. Spread a layer of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the pan.
  3. Add a layer of cake slices over the ice cream.
  4. Spread whipped cream over the cake layer.
  5. Layer sliced strawberries over the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat layers until the pan is filled, finishing with whipped cream and strawberries on top.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Remove from freezer, lift out of pan using the plastic wrap, slice, and serve.
