Preparation Steps
- Mix together softened cream cheese, shredded Cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos, cumin, and chopped green onions in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside.
- Divide the ground beef into 12 equal (approximately 3 oz) portions. Flatten each portion into a thin patty.
- Take six of the patties and top each with a tablespoonful of the cream cheese mixture. Cover with the remaining six patties and carefully press the edges together with your fingers to seal the stuffing inside.
- Grill the stuffed burgers over medium heat until they are fully cooked through, about 10 minutes, flipping once. (An indoor grill can also be used).
- Serve the cooked burgers on hamburger buns and dress with your favorite toppings such as guacamole, sliced cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon.
