Preparation Steps
- Pat your chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to thoroughly coat all pieces with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Transfer the marinated chicken to a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the chicken pieces halfway through baking to prevent them from drying out and ensure even caramelization.
- If your chicken needs more color or crispiness on top, turn on the broiler for a few minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
