Preparation Steps
- Mix flour, Italian seasoning, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and sugar in a bowl. Coat chicken with the mixture.
- Heat 1 Tbsp butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet, cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
- Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, turning chicken to coat.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
You can garnish with extra parsley or lemon slices for presentation.
