Preparation Steps
- Make the sauce first. Whisk together soy sauce, garlic chili sauce, ginger, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Add ground beef to a large pot or Dutch oven and cook over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes until partially cooked.
- Add diced white onion and minced garlic; sauté for another 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and prepared sauce. Bring to a boil, then submerge ramen noodles and reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir noodles to separate, add bell pepper and edamame. Cover and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes.
- Remove from heat. If liquid is absorbed, top with green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds. If not, cover and let sit for a few minutes.
Notes
This recipe is easily customizable—swap in frozen peas or broccoli if fresh veggies aren't available. Serve with extra sriracha for heat!
