Ingredients

Crust and Filling
  • 25 cookies Oreo cookies (wafers & filling)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (thawed)
  • 10 cookies Oreo cookies (chopped)

Method

Oreo Crust
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor, or place them in a ziploc bag and bash with a rolling pin until fine crumbs form.
  2. Mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. You can use the bottom of a glass cup to help compact it.
  4. Place the crust in the fridge to chill while you prepare the filling.
Oreo Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until the mixture is soft and smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping, followed by the chopped Oreo cookies.
  3. Spoon the filling evenly into the chilled pie crust and smooth the top.
  4. Place the pie in the fridge to chill for at least an hour before serving to allow it to set completely.

Notes

For best results, ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature before beating to avoid lumps. Chilling the pie for longer, such as 2-3 hours or overnight, will result in a firmer and easier-to-slice dessert.
