Preparation Steps
- Cream butter and brown sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix in egg and vanilla until smooth.
- Add pudding mix, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined. Stir in flour, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake cookies for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
