  • 9 oz Rice Krispy cereal
  • 20 oz mini marshmallows
  • 0.5 c butter
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by melting butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add 15 ounces of mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring until fully melted. Set remaining marshmallows aside.
  3. Remove from heat, then stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Add half of the rice cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir thoroughly.
  5. Mix in the remaining marshmallows and rice cereal until well combined.
  6. Press mixture into a greased baking pan and allow to cool slightly before shaping.
  7. Use heat-resistant gloves to shape the treats by hand into desired forms or use cookie cutters.
  8. Place shaped treats on parchment-lined tray and let set.

Notes

Ensure not to over-pack the shapes so they maintain their form.
