- Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker. Rub the sea salt all over the pork. Drizzle with liquid mesquite smoke. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker. Shred the meat using two forks. Discard any excess liquid or reserve a little for moisture.
