  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, dried thyme, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over the entire turkey breast.
  3. Place the seasoned turkey breast into your slow cooker. Pour the chicken broth around the base of the turkey.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the turkey reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Carefully remove the turkey breast from the slow cooker and transfer it to a cutting board. Tent loosely with foil and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
